The Sales Team
David has been an agent since 1997, and throughout his 24-year career in property he has had the privilege of working for a number of industry-leading property agencies in Prime Central London, South West London, Surrey and Hampshire. Since joining Grantley in 2016, David has been instrumental in evolving the company's brand, introducing a more tailored approach to property marketing and overseeing the development of Grantley’s web and social media strategies. David is utterly client focussed and nothing is ever too much trouble - if a house needs staging for a photo shoot or a garden needs attention to capture that all-important shot, it is not uncommon for David to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in!
David prides himself on ensuring every client’s home is marketed in the best possible way. Through this diligent approach he enables owners from Country Estates to Ultra modern eco houses to achieve their goals. He prides himself on a passionate knowledge of listed buildings and the more quirky country houses that the area is known for. Living next to Merrow Downs, the perfect place for David’s love for the great outdoors, he is a keen mountaineer and can often be found trail running around the Surrey Hills in preparation for his next adventure. David is the very proud father of a very active 9 year old boy and a grown up daughter who is now training to be a teacher. He lives life to the full and hates sitting still for more than 5 minutes!
Jennifer joined the world of estate agency over 20 years ago and during her career has amassed a wealth of experience throughout several sectors of the market. Jennifer has a proud reputation for her attention to detail, first-class service and always striving to do the very best for her clients. Living in Wonersh, Jennifer has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the villages around Guildford and has built up a significant network of contacts and clients. When not at work, Jennifer likes to spend her time entertaining, working in the garden or attending to her horse, Boulie.
Alex started his career in the property industry in 2009 and, over the years, has gained experience in Property Management, Lettings and Sales across South West London, Elmbridge and Surrey with some of the most well-respected agencies in the business.
Alex has worked with the entire range of the market, from studio apartments in East London to 9-bedroom luxury mansions in St Georges Hill. No matter where the property sits in the market, you will always receive the same level of passion and enthusiasm.
Alex is a local family man and is part of the Onslow Village community in Guildford, where he lives with his wife and two young boys. He is known for providing a friendly and approachable manner. Remaining active will always be important to Alex, and in his spare time, he likes to go to the gym, indoor rock climb and, of course, run around after his children.

The Lettings Team
Stephen founded the business in 2006. An experienced landlord with a Surrey-based portfolio, Stephen has been running his own businesses in the Guildford, Godalming and Haslemere areas for more than 25 years. A father of four plus two (seven if you include his Labrador, Hendricks), he has an excellent knowledge of the local areas and completely 'gets' the challenges faced with finding, buying, selling, managing, and renting a home. He loves life and the Grantley business. Nothing is too much trouble for Stephen, and he is well respected for his "positive mental attitude" both in business and at play. When not at the office, one of Stephen's other great passions is classic cars and he can often be seen dashing around in one his favourite cars.
Head of Lettings
Born in Sydney, Mark made England his home back in 2003 and now enjoys the Surrey Hills and south/mid Wales, either mountain biking or walking with his young family. Having lived and worked in Guildford heading up a premium lettings business since 2006, he joined Grantley in 2015 and is passionate about working with the Lettings, Finding and Management Team to elevate the business to a new level. Mark has never completely gotten over the heartbreak of losing the 2003 Rugby World Cup on home turf to the English, a fact that he is regularly reminded of.
Assistant Manager - Lettings
Following her time at an international estate agent, Susie joined Grantley in 2017 and brought with her a hunger for success. Having worked in the Guildford and surrounding areas for over a decade, Susie offers an approachable, honest service with unrivalled local knowledge. Living locally in Shalford with her husband and cat, she enjoys being outside as much as possible to enjoy local walks with family and friends.
Charlie is no stranger to The Grantley Group having worked with us on a six-month placement whilst studying for his business degree. During his time with us, he gained experience in the Serviced Apartment, Sales and, finally, Lettings departments. After graduation from the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, he worked for a year at a Weybridge agency and then moved to Central London where he honed his skills with a leading estate agent for a further two years. Charlie has returned to us a more professional operator with a distinctive, eccentric charm all of his own (clients love him). Charlie has lived in Surrey for over 25 years, recently moving to Holmbury St Mary, and has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and its people. He lives and breathes country living and is an avid country sportsman.
Sarah has been based in the Haslemere office for over 17 years, having previously worked in the travel industry. This time has enabled Sarah to build a wealth of property management experience, dealing with all aspects of new business and ongoing client relationships. Sarah has a passion for interior design and refurbishment and is often asked to coordinate refurbishment projects on her clients' behalf, and as a landlord herself, Sarah can empathise with the requirements of both landlords and tenants. When not at work Sarah is a keen golfer, enjoys entertaining with friends and family and of course a glass of chilled sauvignon!
Shonda has worked in the Haslemere office since 1997 and has over 28 years letting experience in and around the area, having visited, shown, or valued just about every house in the town and surrounding villages. Shonda thrives on business development, investment landlord acquisition, property lettings and management and has a wealth of local knowledge and contacts, which proves invaluable in the business. Shonda has two boys which keeps her busy and enjoys running, cycling and paddle boarding.
Lisa joined Grantley in January 2021 following the merger with her own lettings business, LP Lettings, which she set up and ran for almost 9 years. Lisa started her lettings journey in Knightsbridge some 27 years ago and has amassed a huge number of clients and contacts throughout Surrey and prime central London. This varied experience in all aspects of letting and management, as well as the same customer-focussed approach as the rest of the team at Grantley, is proving invaluable to her clients. Living in Thursley, Lisa is often out on the common enjoying long walks with her dog and spending time with her family.
Gemma started her 12-year property career in sales before moving across to lettings and property management, giving her a wealth of knowledge and an excellent understanding of the entire industry. From clients with single properties to those with large portfolios, Gemma’s consistent professional and friendly approach ensures she gets the best possible results.
When not at work, she enjoys keeping active and spending time in the countryside near where she lives, in Liphook, with her family and beloved miniature-Dachshund, Fernando.
With 40 years’ experience in the property industry, Jane has worked for both large corporates and small independent companies from London right down to the South Coast. With a focus on residential lettings, Jane's knowledge of the industry means she’s perfectly placed to support all three offices.
Jane has called the beautiful village of Albury Heath home since 1985 and has three grown-up children who have all flown the nest to live in London. In her spare time, Jane loves all sorts of sports, including skiing, sailing and golf and is now the Chairman of Shere Tennis Club. She also has a fox red Labrador named Jeff.
Originally from South Africa, where she spent 30 years working in the construction and property management sector in Durban, Jenny has lived in the UK for 12 years.
Jenny joined Grantley in December 2022 and as property manager, works across the company’s lettings portfolio, looking after both landlords’ portfolios and tenant issues across a broad spectrum. When she’s not at work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and lives for her five grandchildren.
Finance and Administration
Martin is an accountant with forty years of experience working in a variety of businesses, covering fields as varied as glass manufacturing, security products, loudspeakers, aircraft sub-assemblies and air cargo management. Having escaped once, he managed to skirt around the clutches of Stephen Frost for almost 10 years until he succumbed in a moment of madness and returned to the fold to take on a new challenge in estate agency & lettings! Martin ensures all financial aspects involved in our sales & lettings businesses are held to the highest standards.
Jo started her career in finance in London before taking a break to start a family. Having lived abroad in both Hong Kong and Malaysia, Jo can well relate to a lot of Property Services current expat clients. Jo was previously a client of the firm and now looks after the accounts in between keeping fit, spending time with the family and travelling.
Helene has been part of the Grantley team since 2011, but has been working in the lettings industry since 1995 in various places and agencies throughout Surrey, including Cranleigh, Godalming and Guildford. Prior to lettings, Helene enjoyed a career in the insurance industry before taking some time off to raise her two sons. Outside of work, Helene enjoys keeping fit and spending time with friends in the local area.
Receptionist and Accounts Assistant
Karen has been with our Haslemere office since 2006 after working for many years in the travel industry. She divides her time between the busy reception desk and the day to day running of the accounts department. Karen is central to all departments at Haslemere and prides herself on excellent relationships with our clients.
PA and office co-ordinator
With 35 years’ administrative experience, eight of which spent in the property sector, Sarah joined Grantley as team secretary/marketing coordinator and has worked her way up to the role of Office Manager/PA.
Now based across Grantley’s Guildford and Godalming offices, Sarah provides invaluable support to the sales team. She lives between Guildford and Farnham with her husband, son and dog and when she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, knitting, sewing and baking cakes for her family and friends.
